ARC Academy presents a new preliminary program – Foundation in Digital Arts
At ARC Academy, we want to be a springboard for every young person to the creative field and, in particular, to their professional development in it.
We are happy to introduce the new program in our portfolio – Foundation in Digital Arts, which aims to build the connection between all our products and give good education to young talents who want to take this career path.
What is the purpose of the program and why choose it?
The Foundation in Digital Arts preliminary program builds basic skills and knowledge for working in a digital environment. Confirms and conveys the basic level that students need to have when applying to our two-year Concept Art and 3D Art programs.
Tutors will provide specific assignments and feedback that will help learners develop their knowledge. They will become familiar with the main software used in the industry. They will network with both industry professionals and prospective fellow students and develop their portfolios.
All those who complete the program have the opportunity to continue their education at ARC Academy, more prepared and confident in their abilities to work in the creative field.
What will you learn and what skills will you acquire?
The program includes core disciplines such as fundamentals of art and fundamentals of digital art. During the course, students will be introduced to the most established digital art software tools, including Blender and Adobe Photoshop, enabling them to create inspiring digital works with proper structure. In addition, they will learn skills to model 3D objects and create worlds and characters. They will receive personalized feedback and work on a project that will demonstrate their acquired skills and become part of their portfolio.
After successful completion of the program (with the required grade), students have the opportunity to continue their studies at the Academy without further admission and practical assignments.
At our Open Doors, which will be held on April 13 at 10:30 a.m., we will present the program and its advantages to our visitors in a lecture. We welcome everyone interested in the game industry to our campus in the Center for Education and Culture “Elieff”, Sofia. Pre-registration is required HERE.
