ARC Academy students visited the ImmerseFX studio

Last Friday our students visited the ImmerseFX studio where they were welcomed by Jordan Markov, founder of the studio, who gave an inspiring lecture. From him, they learned more about the projects, and the company’s work process, as well as many valuable tips.

Our visit started with a surprise that they had prepared especially for us and we were very impressed. The host then shared more about various experiences and incidents from his years of experience, giving many examples to the students to not give up and pursue their dreams. He revealed the studio’s work details, introducing us to their current and past projects.

We also talked about professional roles in the industry, as well as the process of creating a project – from the initial concept to the final result. In addition, it revealed interesting facts about the length of post-production of films, as well as the need for a uniform approach in character animation to ensure consistency in their movements.

We remembered to discuss the most relevant topic of our time – the influence of artificial intelligence in the creative industries. Our students actively participated by asking their questions and sharing their views. At the end of the lecture, Jordan Markov shared his aspiration to bring an Oscar to Bulgaria through his work.

“The most important thing is to find the passion within yourself.” – was the founder’s message to our talented students.

After the discussion part, we toured the studio and got to know the rest of the professionals from the team.
