Beach Bodies: An interactive exhibition of the 3D Artists in Seaside Sculpt Jam 2022

In July, we spent a week in Krapets, where we organized the Seaside Sculpt Jam – a Bootcamp on 3D modeling in Zbrush. Together with our partners from the Romanian studio AMC Ro Studio, we gathered 24 talented 3D artists who had the task of making a 3D portrait of the person they share a room in the hotel.

The participants worked under the mentorship of Nikolay Naydenov, 3D artist and lecturer at ARC Academy, Sofia Hristov, anatomy lecturer at the Academy, Daniel Martikariou, Character Artist at AMC, Marius Petre, Character Artist at AMC and Claudio Thanassie, freelance character artist. The mornings were devoted to the anatomy of the human face, and the afternoons were for individual portrait work and feedback from the lecturers.

Our friends at AMC Ro Studio have collected the projects of the participants in the Beach Bodies virtual exhibition. It was shown at RADAR festival  in October, which took place in Bucharest.
