Career Fair at ARC Academy – students met studios from Bulgaria and Romania
At ARC Academy, we strive to provide quality education and be the connection between young talents and studios. Last month we organized a special Career Fair for the current students and alumni community.
Our partners from Bulgarian and Romanian studios gave lectures to the students and answered all their questions related to career development in the game, creative, and film industry.
Ivomir Stevasarev, an Associate Producer at Gameloft Sofia, presented the topic “MMO real-time strategy games and the daily challenges around them”. ReDefine studio talked about the development opportunities in the field of VFX for films and presented the new program we are launching together- VFX & Animation. Andrey Budanov from Snapshot Games delved into Procedural Art and VFX for Games. Studio Worldwide FX talked about the role of the Concept Artist in the film industry.
Representatives of two of the largest Romanian studios came to Sofia to join us. Our partners from Amber Studio shared their experience in video game production. Georgiana Toea and Kaloyan Kalamov from AMC gave a lecture with the intriguing title “What happens when we are not working”.
There were free discussions on all topics of interest to ARC students. Our partners from the Romanian studios were impressed by both the students and the material base of the Academy. They pointed out that there is no such educational institution in Romania, even though the game industry is more significant.
