Virtual Open House at ARC Academy

On 13.11.2021 (Saturday) ARC Academy organized Open Doors Day which took place online through Zoom and Facebook Live.

The beginning of the event was set by Antony Hristov and Milin Djalaliev – founders of ARC Academy. They talked about the pace at which the game industry is developing on a global scale and about the different game types according to which the Academy prepares its students. It became clear from the presentation that the entertainment industry in Bulgaria is developing very well and keeps scoring definite progress.

Antony Hristov and Borislav Bogdanov – Program Director at ARC and Art Director and Executive Director at Snapshot Games gave more details about ARC Academy’s curriculum “Game Dev”. They told more about the two-year program “Game Dev” which is tightly profiled in three main directions: Game Design, Concept Design, and 3D Art. Important questions about financing, scholarships, and opportunities for realization after graduating from ARC were discussed, as well as the exciting final of the two-year program Game Dev: Game Lab.

The candidates who apply until March 31, 2022, will have the opportunity to participate in our mentorship program before the beginning of the next school year.

During the event part of the last year’s students from “Game Dev Advanced” introduced their incredible project – the game CAIM. They talked about the stages of development that they went through and the team process that they followed till the end.

In the end, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive additional information about the application process, admission, portfolio, and others.
