Win a partial scholarship for the VFX & Animation program with ReDefine
At ARC Academy, we’re always looking to help young talent make their way into the film and visual effects industry. And one of the ways we do that is by giving some of you the opportunity to win a partial scholarship.
The winner will receive a scholarship that covers 50% of the fee for the first year of the VFX & Animation program. The winner will also have the chance to meet the team of studio ReDefine and visit their studio in Sofia. The scholarship is provided by the international VFX and Animation studio ReDefine.

The VFX & Animation program
The VFX film industry is a place for people with different talents. The Animation and visual effects program includes disciplines and knowledge useful to any aspiring VFX artist, regardless of the specific direction they choose to take. It will guide you through the entire process of working in VFX effects studios – from the basics of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and rendering to 2D compositing and matte painting (building digital photorealistic images), as well as the organizational side of production.
The task:
We have prepared a fun quiz for all of you who want to start your career in the vast and exciting ocean of VFX.
Check out the video we’ve selected for you and describe to us in your own words about any issues you see in the final frame. Even if you don’t know why it looks wrong, list it! We promise that at the end of this program, you will have the necessary understanding and know-how to create or adjust CG components into photorealistic effects.
Whoever sends us the most comprehensive list of observed issues will win our prize of 50% off the program fee for the first year.
