Veselin Panayotov

Animator

Veselin Panayotov is a Bulgarian animator who earned a degree in Animation from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov” in Sofia in 2016. His graduation project, “Earthworms,” was chosen for inclusion in the World Festival of Animated Film Varna (WFAF). This short film utilizes a combination of digital hand-drawn animation and traditionally painted backgrounds.

He contributed to the Academico animated educational video lessons, designed for students in grades one through seven within the Bulgarian educational system. His role involved illustrating and animating cut-out animation to develop engaging and informative lessons for students.

He performed motion design work for RedVertex, where he developed complex animations for video presentations, incorporating VFX and animation principles.

He served as an animator for Dopamine Gaming, primarily focusing on character animation for video game symbols within an online gaming platform.

Currently, he operates as a freelance animator and artist.
