The students presented their games to the Creative Assembly Sofia team

One of the most exciting events for our students is the visits to the game and movie studios in Sofia. Days before the end of the academic year, the graduating students went to the Creative Assembly Sofia studio.

Georgi Dinchev, studio director, told them more about the history of the studio and the projects they are working on. At the end of May, the studio announced its new game – Total War: PHARAOH, which will be released in October. It is being developed by the Bulgarian team, and currently, the announce trailer has over 3.3 million views.

ARC Academy students had the great opportunity to present the games they developed in the last semester of their studies (Game Lab) to the Creative Assembly Sofia team. They introduced Actia – a 3D puzzle platformer that takes us to a fantasy world overrun by corruption, and Mesozoic Mayhem – an endless runner for PC, in which the main character is a cute dinosaur.

CA professionals were pleasantly surprised by what our students have achieved within a few months. They provided valuable feedback and advice on what could be improved.

After the presentations, the students talked to game designers, art directors, 2D and 3D artists and learned more about their career paths.

Creative Assembly Sofia, thank you for your hospitality!
