ARC Academy Opened School Year 2021/2022

The third class of ARC Academy began their training in the present program Game Dev. 63 students crossed the doorstep of the Academy on October 16.

As a result of our partnership with the American University in Bulgaria, Iliev Center for Education and Culture is the new home of the Academy and the ARC team. The three halls, equipped with 50 computers, welcomed the talented and motivated young people who are going to step into the exciting world of the game industry.

“So far, 60% of the graduates of ARC Academy have found their place in the teams of game studios in our country,” said the co-founder of the Academy Antony Christov.

The skills, talents, and qualities of our students are inspiring. During the past school year, they created their first game Caim, and are currently negotiating with potential investors to publish it.

This year we welcomed our first foreign students and the lectures are now held entirely in English. This is the first step in the internationalization of ARC.

“Our goal is to make the Academy regional and as a start, we have focused on Romania and Poland,” added the other co-founder Milin Jalaliev. “Everyone will benefit from this – both the studios in the region and the students who will be able to broaden their horizons.”

The partnership with AUBG is one of the most significant things we have achieved so far. We believe that it will be beneficial for our students and will provide them with an even greater range of opportunities.

We thank our partners from the game industry Creative Assembly SofiaGameloft SofiaSnapshot Games, the lecturers who will inspire and guide the students, as well as America for Bulgaria Foundation, which has supported us from the very beginning!

We wish students from class 2021/2022 to have fun, develop their talent and find their place in the game dev industry!
