The new academic year for campus and distance learning programs has begun

On October 12, ARC Academy excitedly opened its sixth academic year. Students and faculty, united by their pursuit of knowledge and self-improvement, were welcomed by co-founders Milin Djalaliev and Antony Christov. They spoke about the Academy’s mission, highlighting the importance of quality education and skill development, and wished everyone success in their studies and in facing the challenges of the year ahead.
The event was hosted by Eri Doicheva, an alumni student and program coordinator at ARC, who presented the curriculum and shared more details about the subjects to be taught and the instructors leading them. Evgeny Tenev, a lecturer and lead game producer at Creative Assembly Sofia, provided insights into the latest Game Lab semester and the tasks and challenges students can expect.
After the official presentation, students had the chance to talk with each other and meet some of the lecturers who would be teaching them. The event concluded with everyone enjoying the delicious pizza our partner, Domino’s Pizza provided.
On October 19, we successfully launched the first academic year of our distance-learning program. The event began with an inspiring presentation by Antony Christov and Milen Ivanov, Program Director at ARC Academy and founder of RyseUp Studios. They introduced the Academy’s approach, aimed at preparing students for their first jobs as artists and game designers, while also sharing their vision of the current state and trends in the creative industry. Following them, Viktor Argirov, Project Manager at ARC, familiarized the students with the academic calendar, the curriculum, and the team of lecturers. Afterward, our students from 7 different countries shared their previous experiences and future career plans, which naturally led to a lively discussion about the future of gaming and the new opportunities that artificial intelligence is opening up in this field.
Over the past six years, ARC Academy has built a strong community, connecting students and professionals in the creative industries. We are proud to note that over 80% of our graduates successfully work in studios in Bulgaria and abroad.
We extend our gratitude to everyone for their support over the years and to the America for Bulgaria Foundation, which has been with us since the beginning of 2019.
We wish our students a smooth and productive academic journey, leading to future career success!
